The public has the right to be informed about how the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association calculates and sets its insurance rates. The public pays for the cost of those rates, and they should know why those rates are so high. But they will never know as long as the MCCA is allowed to escape public scrutiny. I am outraged that the citizens of this state are being continually kept in the dark on these decisions.
